Slightly Saccharine Version
I understand that, in this politically correct era, we shouldn't go around frightening our children with stories of wolves swallowing people whole. So this version of "Little Red Riding Hood" avoids that altogether, while still retaining the original structure.

Unfortunately since my son already knew the original tale (the French have no qualms with wolves being cut open to save Grandma & the little girl) he didn't really "get" it at first listening.

Still a reasonable alternative, and therefore still value for money.
