Présentation de l'éditeur
In a self-taught way, Laib's work is based on the contact with nature, the simplicity of his formal language and the purity of the natural materials he uses, which are unusual in art. Organic elements such as pollen, rice, milk and wax turn into the main characters of the fascinating creative process of the artist in which every piece is renewed over and over throughout the time as a cyclical ritual, to which new creations keep being added. Works shown: Mikstone, Rice Meals, Nowhere-Everywhere and Pollen from Hazelnut.

Wolfgang Laib was born on 25 March 1950 in Metzingen, Germany. He began to study medicine in 1968 at the University of Tübingen and became a doctor in 1974.
